What is Lung Cancer?

Lung cancer occurs when abnormal cells grow uncontrollably in the lungs.

There are two main types:

• Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer (NSCLC) – Most common
• Small Cell Lung Cancer (SCLC) – More aggressive

Earlier, most patients received similar chemotherapy. But today, we know that not all lung cancers are the same at the molecular level.
